Overview

If you are new to SupeRanked, this is how we started: we wanted to create a tool for those who are about to build their first mechanical keyboard and are studying to get more knowledge in this field. Hence, we developed our first infographic and released it to the public. Over time and thanks to the huge support of our amazing community, we’ve kept improving the infographic up to our latest iteration: Custom Mechanical Keyboard Infographic Desk Mat V3. If you’ve just started your journey in the world of custom keebs, our V3 desk mat is still the best entry point to learn fast and know exactly what to do and how to choose your parts. Keep it always on your desk and you’ll never get lost again with the terminology or the process.

But what if you’re an experienced keeb artisan, you don’t need all those descriptions and you’re only looking for a desk mat that can represent your passion with style? Well, let us introduce you to our next project then…

With Nightglow and Lightglow Desk Mats, we have created our very first capsule collection focused on design and personality rather than raw information. Both desk mats come with the same coverage in terms of instructions when compared to V3, but with fewer words and less descriptive paragraphs. It means that we’ve maintained the utilitarian essence (=topics) of the original infographic while reducing the amount of words used (=lengthy sentences). This has given us the chance to play with space and colors, for a more aggressive style that frankly looks just dope on any desk.

Development

For such a new collection we’ve continued to partner up with a company based in Taiwan, specialized in mouse pads and other accessories. The amazing feedback received by the community on quality and performance has given us the confidence that this the right collab that we want to cherish.

The quantity is limited as we’re currently unable to scale up the volumes, due to the fact that we need to maintain a direct control on quality before shipping. As a matter of fact, we personally check the desk mat before sending it to you. If you decide to purchase our desk mat not only you will put your hands on an extremely limited item that most likely no one around you will ever own, but you will also enter the small circle of Founders and supporters of SupeRanked startup.

Our Nightglow and Lightglow Desk Mats are designed for enthusiasts and gamers: with more than 3 sq. feet of area, this desk mat is large enough to fit your mouse, keyboard, and other items on your desk. In other words, you’ll have plenty of room for pro-style gaming or mechanical keyboard assembling.

Manufacturing Process

Every Desk Mat is Made in Taiwan by a skilled team of expert printers, technicians, and crafters. The design is printed onto Lycra. This durable and supportive material makes the ideal choice for a comfortable and professional desk mat. We print deep into the fibers, creating a permanent finish that will not fade away. Finally, the Desk Mat is cut to size and checked personally by each of us at SupeRanked before shipping it off to its new home.

Care Instructions

You can gently clean the Desk Mat with a damp cloth (avoid paper towels) when needed.

How to deep-clean the Desk Mat when it gets really nasty:

• Fill sink or bath with cold water and add a dash of soap
• Toss Desk Mat in
• Use a sponge to gently rub the surface
• Rinse it nicely, making sure there’s no soap left
• Pat the Desk Mat dry
• Air dry once done (not under direct sunlight) and wait at least 24-36 hours before use

It’s not recommended to machine wash, to preserve the original colors and crispiness of the surface.
